Combination of devices

Combination of devices
The speedometer is located in the central part of a combination of devices and shows speed of movement of the car in km/h. At the included mode NIGHT PANEL the speedometer scale is shined to 140 km/h. Illumination of other part of a scale joins at speed above 135 km/h.
The tachometre is to the left of a speedometer and shows frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine in thousand turns a minute.
The tachometre is intended for the control over engine turns. In addition the engine management block limits fuel giving at achievement of 6200 rpm (petrol engines) or 4600 rpm (diesel engines).
Counters of run and the zeroing button
The field одометра and a run measuring instrument is placed under a tachometre.
Одометр (at the left) registers the general run (km) of a vehicle from the moment of its input in operation. The run measuring instrument shows run (km and hundreds metres) the car from the moment of counter zeroing. For measuring instrument zeroing the corresponding button (8 on an illustration above), located to the right of a measuring instrument is used. Depending on position of a key in the ignition lock, this button operates differently. At the switched off ignition by the first pressing the button 20 seconds the display joins, and by repeated pressing the measuring instrument is nulled. At the included ignition zeroing occurs by the first pressing the button.
The index of a stock of fuel
The index of a stock of fuel is located in the right bottom part of a combination of devices and serves for visual monitoring of a stock of fuel remaining in a tank.
The error of indications of the index of a stock of fuel is minimum, when the car occupies strictly horizontal position, and increases at car movement on twisting or hilly roads. Index functioning does not depend on ignition key position.
Located in the bottom part of dial К/Л with the filling station image informs the driver that in a tank remains about 10 l of fuel. Thus it is necessary to make car refuelling at the first possibility. To learn distance which remained fuel on which will suffice, use the onboard computer.
The index of temperature of the engine
The index of temperature of the engine is located to the right of the index of a stock of fuel and serves for visual representation of temperature of a cooling liquid of the engine.
In a normal state of the marksman of the index should be in the scale centre. If the arrow comes nearer to a red zone of a scale, try to unload the engine, moving on the higher possible transfer and with the least possible turns. At moving of an arrow to a red zone lights up warning К/Л and the sound signal is distributed. If the arrow does not fall, despite described above a measure, it is necessary to stop movement, to switch off К/В (if it has been included) and to wait engine cooling. Check up a safety lock of the fan of a radiator and level of a cooling liquid. If necessary eliminate leaks and add ОЖ, or replace a safety lock.
The manometre is located in the top right corner of a combination of devices and specifies the quantity of air demanded for combustion fuel that corresponds to loading on the engine.
At low loadings of the marksman moves in a white zone, and at loading increase – it is displaced in a yellow zone. At very high loadings of the marksman can move to the beginning of a red zone without presence of any malfunctions of the engine.
If the arrow continues to come repeatedly into a red zone and thus the engine loses capacity (since the protective system limits pressure of a turbo-supercharging), address on HUNDRED companies Saab.
If speed of the car exceeds 230 km/h increase of speed also is limited for the account of pressure decrease of a turbo-supercharging. The arrow of a manometre moves to the middle of a yellow field that testifies to fall of capacity of the engine, and consequently, and about speed of the car.
Control lamps and indicators
The whole complex of control lamps and indicators with which help the driver receives the important information on serviceability/infringement of functioning of the basic units and car systems is built in assemblage of a combination of devices of the car.
Besides, К/Л lights up through 10 with the ambassador of inclusion of ignition if the engine has not been started.

WINTER — Given К/Л specifies in work АТ under the program WINTER (see Has undressed Use of automatic transmission (АТ)).
SPORT — Given К/Л specifies in work АТ under the program SPORT (see Has undressed Use of automatic transmission (АТ)).
* Data К/Л at ignition inclusion should light up on 3 with, confirming to their serviceability; К/Л a charge, warning К/Л and К/Л low pressure of oil burn until the engine will be started.
