Instrumentations

Speedometer

The speedometer is located in the central part of a combination of devices and shows speed of movement of the car in km/h. At the included mode NIGHT PANEL the speedometer scale is shined to 140 km/h. Illumination of other part of a scale joins at speed above 135 km/h.

Tachometre

The tachometre is to the left of a speedometer and shows frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine in thousand turns a minute.

The tachometre is intended for the control over engine turns. In addition the engine management block limits fuel giving at achievement of 6200 rpm (petrol engines) or 4600 rpm (diesel engines).

Counters of run and the zeroing button

The field одометра and a run measuring instrument is placed under a tachometre.

Одометр (at the left) registers the general run (km) of a vehicle from the moment of its input in operation. The run measuring instrument shows run (km and hundreds metres) the car from the moment of counter zeroing. For measuring instrument zeroing the corresponding button (8 on an illustration above), located to the right of a measuring instrument is used. Depending on position of a key in the ignition lock, this button operates differently. At the switched off ignition by the first pressing the button 20 seconds the display joins, and by repeated pressing the measuring instrument is nulled. At the included ignition zeroing occurs by the first pressing the button.

The index of a stock of fuel

The index of a stock of fuel is located in the right bottom part of a combination of devices and serves for visual monitoring of a stock of fuel remaining in a tank.

The error of indications of the index of a stock of fuel is minimum, when the car occupies strictly horizontal position, and increases at car movement on twisting or hilly roads. Index functioning does not depend on ignition key position.

Located in the bottom part of dial К/Л with the filling station image informs the driver that in a tank remains about 10 l of fuel. Thus it is necessary to make car refuelling at the first possibility. To learn distance which remained fuel on which will suffice, use the onboard computer.

The index of temperature of the engine

The index of temperature of the engine is located to the right of the index of a stock of fuel and serves for visual representation of temperature of a cooling liquid of the engine.

In a normal state of the marksman of the index should be in the scale centre. If the arrow comes nearer to a red zone of a scale, try to unload the engine, moving on the higher possible transfer and with the least possible turns. At moving of an arrow to a red zone lights up warning К/Л and the sound signal is distributed. If the arrow does not fall, despite described above a measure, it is necessary to stop movement, to switch off К/В (if it has been included) and to wait engine cooling. Check up a safety lock of the fan of a radiator and level of a cooling liquid. If necessary eliminate leaks and add ОЖ, or replace a safety lock.

If level ОЖ below a mark MIN, on the multipurpose display appears the message FILL COOLANT LIQUID.

Manometre турбокомпрессора

The manometre is located in the top right corner of a combination of devices and specifies the quantity of air demanded for combustion fuel that corresponds to loading on the engine.

At low loadings of the marksman moves in a white zone, and at loading increase – it is displaced in a yellow zone. At very high loadings of the marksman can move to the beginning of a red zone without presence of any malfunctions of the engine.

If the arrow continues to come repeatedly into a red zone and thus the engine loses capacity (since the protective system limits pressure of a turbo-supercharging), address on HUNDRED companies Saab.

If speed of the car exceeds 230 km/h increase of speed also is limited for the account of pressure decrease of a turbo-supercharging. The arrow of a manometre moves to the middle of a yellow field that testifies to fall of capacity of the engine, and consequently, and about speed of the car.

Control lamps and indicators

The whole complex of control lamps and indicators with which help the driver receives the important information on serviceability/infringement of functioning of the basic units and car systems is built in assemblage of a combination of devices of the car.

* К/Л low pressure of impellent oil, lights up together with precautionary К/Л in case of pressure of the impellent oil insufficient for normal work of the engine. If given К/Л will light up during car movement, at the first possibility stop and muffle the engine. Check up level of impellent oil and if necessary modify it.

* К/Л gymnastics systems, lights up together with precautionary К/Л at malfunction in charge system. If given К/Л will light up during car movement, at the first possibility stop and muffle the engine. Check up приводной a belt. If a belt will pull correctly, malfunction consists in electroconducting of system of a charge.

* К/Л low level of a brake liquid, lights up together with precautionary К/Л. At inclusion given К/Л together with К/Л ABS malfunction can take place in system ABS. At inclusion given К/Л it is necessary to check up level of a brake liquid in the tank, and also hydraulic lines of brake system on presence of leaks.

Movement on the car with faulty brake system is inadmissible.

К/Л the cocked lay brake. At attempt to begin movement with burning given К/Л lights up precautionary К/Л and the sound signal is distributed.

* К/Л ABS serves for the control over serviceability of functioning ABS. Joins in the presence of malfunction in system ABS. Simultaneously with the given lamp can light up precautionary К/Л, К/Л low level of a brake liquid and К/Л the cocked lay brake is specifies in malfunction in system distribution of brake effort. At inclusion К/Л ABS the working brake system continues to work, but without ABS. With a view of safety it is necessary to stop and check up level of a brake liquid. If level normal, strongly squeeze out a pedal of a brake 2-3 times and again check up level of a brake liquid. If level remained normal, it is possible to continue movement with extra care, and then as soon as possible to drive away the car on HUNDRED diagnostics for carrying out and performance of necessary regenerative repair.

AIR
BAG* — К/Л SRS, burns together with precautionary К/Л in the presence of malfunction in system SRS. System SRS in that case should be checked up immediately. К/Л SRS lights up on 3 with at inclusion of ignition and should die away after engine start.

INFO
DISPL* — К/Л the multipurpose display, lights up at message receipt on the display. The sound signal is simultaneously distributed.

* Precautionary К/Л, it is accompanied by inclusion of a buzzer and lights up at malfunction occurrence in one of the systems connected with safety of the car:

Besides, К/Л lights up through 10 with the ambassador of inclusion of ignition if the engine has not been started.

* К/Л malfunctions of the engine, lights up in the presence of malfunction in fuel system or in ignition system. Even if at the included lamp the car can move, it all the same should be checked up as soon as possible on HUNDRED.

* Given К/Л specifies that in a fuel tank there were less than 10 l and reminds that follows as soon as possible will refuel. On diesel models at the rest of fuel of 3 l on the multipurpose display the message STOP FOR FUEL (fill fuel) is deduced.

CRUISE — К/Л included темпостата.

Given К/Л serves for acknowledgement of inclusion of a headlight of headlights.

К/Л the xenon headlights (at a corresponding complete set), lights up at malfunction occurrence in the xenon headlights, or in system of automatic adjustment of range of their light. Thus lamps move in lowered (противоослепляющее) position and, hence, visibility range decreases.

К/Л, confirming inclusion of back foggy lanterns.

К/Л inclusions of external illumination.

К/Л, specifying in an open door or a luggage carrier cover.

WINTER — Given К/Л specifies in work АТ under the program WINTER (see Has undressed Use of automatic transmission (АТ)).

SPORT — Given К/Л specifies in work АТ under the program SPORT (see Has undressed Use of automatic transmission (АТ)).

* К/Л presence of malfunction АТ. To make sure of malfunction АТ switch off the engine and again include ignition. At burning К/Л possibility of movement of the car remains, but АТ works in emergency operation.

* К/Л deenergizings of systems TCS/ESP, lights up at compulsory deenergizing of the given systems, and also at malfunction occurrence in system.

К/Л activity of systems TCS/ESP, lights up at activation of the given systems, i.e. at the lowered friction between wheels and road.

К/Л preheat of the diesel engine. Lights up at the included ignition, if temperature ОЖ more low +5 hailstones. To start the engine follows only after given К/Л will go out.

* Data К/Л at ignition inclusion should light up on 3 with, confirming to their serviceability; К/Л a charge, warning К/Л and К/Л low pressure of oil burn until the engine will be started.
