Repair of 6-cylinder petrol engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Lay on wings protective covers and поддомкратьте the car. Remove parts of the bottom spoiler. Insert wedges between the pallet картера and a stretcher, and also between transmission and a stretcher. Lower the car on the earth. Remove gauge MAF with a hose (5 on an illustration), liberate from the holder hose ГУР (6) and remove the right support of the engine with an arm and a pillow (7).

Removal of gauge MAF (5), hose ГУР (6) and the right support (7).

    Give bolts of fastening of a pulley of the water pump and pump GUR pulley (8 on an illustration). Loosen the a tension of a belt (9) drives of auxiliary units also remove it together with the specified pulleys (10).

At removal only a belt to remove pulleys not necessarily, it is enough to weaken its tension only.

    Remove натяжитель a belt of a drive of auxiliary units and an air inlet of the generator (11). Uncover drive ГРМ (12) and a pulley of a cranked shaft (13). Turn a cranked shaft clockwise so that it almost reached a zero mark (14 on an illustration). Grooves on cogwheels of camshafts should reach almost thus labels on an internal (back) cover of drive ГРМ.
    Establish on a cranked shaft special blocking adaptation KM-800-10 (15 on an illustration). Accurately turn a cranked shaft clockwise so that the lever has nestled on a flange of the water pump, and tighten it.

Cogwheels of camshafts are marked by figures (about grooves): on shaft of cylinders 1, 3 and 5 there are labels 1 and 2, and on shaft of cylinders 2, 4 and 6 – labels 3 and 4.


    Lay control template KM-800-20 at first on cogwheels of 1 and 2 camshafts, and then on wheels 3 and 4. In both cases of a label on cogwheels should coincide precisely with labels on a template.
