The general information

On cars described in a management the 5-step manual box of a gear change (Manual transmission), either 4 or 5-step automatic transmission (АТ) is established.

The transmission is placed in cast aluminium картер, attached to the left end face of the block of cylinders. The knot structure includes mechanisms actually boxes of a gear change and differential. The box model is specified on a plate fixed on its case (the Section transmission Identification see). The case is equipped drain, jellied and control by the apertures closed by stoppers.

Rotation is transferred from a cranked shaft of the engine through coupling knot to a primary shaft of a transmission. The primary shaft is supplied шлицами on which the conducted disk of coupling is established. From a primary shaft on which there are all 6 gear wheels of transfers, rotation is transferred to secondary shaft Manual transmission on which conducted gear wheels of all forward transfers are located. All transfers are synchronised. From a secondary shaft rotation is transferred to a conducted gear wheel of differential. The gear wheel, in turn, results planetary knot, satellites and power shafts. Free rotation of satellites on the axes allows an internal wheel to rotate at passage of turns more slowly the external.

At reverse gear inclusion the parasitic gear wheel enters into gearing between its gear wheel and external teeths муфты inclusions of 1-2 transfers. Such design provides necessary decrease in speed of rotation and forces a secondary shaft to rotate in the opposite direction.

Primary and secondary shaft of a box are located in parallel each other, and also to in parallel cranked shaft and power shafts. Gear wheels of both shaft is in constant gearing. On neutral transfer of a gear wheel rotate on secondary to a shaft freely, without transferring rotation to a conducted gear wheel of the main transfer.

The gear change is carried out by means of established on a floor of salon of a side scene by means of the lever mechanism of a choice of transfers.

The drive consists of a set of plugs of switching with which help sliding муфты synchronizers move along a shaft, carrying out blocking of gear wheels of corresponding transfers. As naves sliding муфт are equipped шлицами, entered into gearing with шлицами the secondary shaft, the gear wheel blocked on a nave starts to rotate together with shaft, providing the further drive with the corresponding transfer relation.
